| I've heard that we are to tender contracts out to local designers, in order for a 20 foot statue of 'The Great One', to be built.
The women of Howley will queue to kiss it's feet.
The menfolk of Woolston will genuflect, every time they see it
The stadium announcer will act as a Muslim muezzin, and call for all the town's people to prayer in His name, every three hours
The members of Stretton/Hatton Women's Institute will make Him quiches
The teenage mums of Orford will go to Saz's and have actual size faces of the Chosen One across their breasts
The ladies at Slimmers World on Manchester Road will eat cream cakes in His honour
Grandad's in Grappenhall will tell their 5 year old grandchildren tales of derring-do, performed by the Wire
And in two years time, knuckle-scraping doormen will baracade Sir Tony in his office when his contract runs out, saying "Thinking of leaving, are we, sunshine", until he changes his mind, and signs a contract to 2020

47600_1370068151.jpg The Autumn Wind is a pirate
Blustering in from sea,
With a rollocking song, he sweeps along,
Swaggering boisterously.
His face is weather beaten.
He wears a hooded sash,
With a silver hat about his head,
And a bristling black mustache.
He growls as he storms the country,
A villain big and bold.
And the trees all shake and quiver and quake,
As he robs them of their gold.
The Autumn Wind is a raider,
Pillaging just for fun.
He'll knock you 'round and upside down,
And laugh when he's conquered and won.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_47600.jpg |

| Two grand final wins, two challenge cups, not sure how many league leaders shields. Who has won the most in the SL era? Noble or is it Millward?

| Quote: Fantastic Mr Catpiss "Good article with che in this months RL World, reading that, you would think if and when he does leave, it wouldn't be surprising if he moved back to the RFL and try to see an overhaul of modern coaching in the UK.'"
That's what i think.I can't see him taking up another head coach job in the uk. He's achieved everything there is.
He generally seems to go to a club for 3/4 years, get's the job done and moves on.
If you think he'll be at warrington alot longer, you're deluded IMO.

I think his family are very settled over here. I remember at a squadbuilder event him saying that he isn't one of theses people who wants to go back to Aus, he classes England as his home now. Why would he want to leave, he has a chairman who seemingly backs him whenever it's needed and along with Bastian has built a very strong youth set-up at the club. I wouldn't rule out a ten year stint with us.

| Quote: SEB "Did they? Yes McClennan has obviously got ability, over the short term anyway. But he inherited Tony's squad. How well did he do in future planning? The current Leeds team suggests not that well.

Something you'll experience over the next few years is that you get to the top, you win, you're the best and you think it will last forever.
But then suddenly a few players will retire, not as many stars will be sighned and you'' be back down in 4th/5th wondering where it all went wrong with the replacment of smith.
The godl standard in the salary cap era is not maintaining a successful team. But managing to continually build a new one when the other one breaks apart. Because it will happen.

| Who replaces Monas, i have an idea have a starting 19 made up of 18 from within the club and only one overseas spot to Cam Smith.
On a serious note i wouldn't mind Henderson at Catalans

| Yes, we have a part ageing team, BUT, we also have kids for the future e.g. the Evans bros, O'Brien, Myler and Ratchford (still young), as well as 'established' players with youth on their side e.g. Cooper, Riley, Harrison etc.
Couple this with picking 'top name' overseas players which we can pick-up with salary-cap/quota allowances.
I'm not saying we're going to dominate, but I don't think we'll be 'slumping down to 4th/5th' anytime in the next half dozen seasons.
Smith is the key to all this. If he renews his 2013 contract....the sky's the limit

| I'd be happy with 4 more years, Smith to take us to 2015. By that time, we'll be a 'new team', he'll have seen us through that period and then him to move into another capacity handing the reigns to someone, right now I'm finding hard to come up with a suitable candidate other than the obvious like Bellamy.

Not really. He left Hudds because he was offered a much better job with Leeds, with the potential to win trophies much better. He then left Leeds to meet his ambition to coach at international level. Hardly a track record for leaving clubs after a set period.

This.
And whilst it's all down to imagination i would like to see maybe Morley or someone from this team to take the 2016 team. Been there and done it and would continue the Smith ethos and attitude.

Doesn't happen to everyone. Especially those that plan ahead.
