After watching the mighty Wire on Sunday -I witnessed more than one Wigan shirt being buried -including subs, 17 in total .
Notice how we kept the scoreboard on WOLVES 39-WIGAN 12 so all those stay behind Wigan fans -Could stand and gawp in orr.

I don't think it seems TOO much, Salford's stadium is costing £26m overall I think.

and for that you get two sewage farms an oil terminal and the Manky ship canal all within 300 yards. Lovely on a warm sunny day.

Basically no different. The concrete in the NE and SE corners has been dug up and I believe the groundworks/foiundations are being worked on. Above ground level it looks like nothing has changed since the Leeds (or even the Huddersfield) game. The wall/gates have been replaced in the SW corner and I believe the grounds staff storage area is finished.
For people who were questioning the works being done "during the season" it seems it was a necessity as some of the work will "need to settle" before its added onto and also the changing weather will have an impact on the program. As somebody once posted, the reason they aint doing it all in the 3 month clsoe season is...........its gonna take longer than 3 months!

| Probably been covered before, but I take it if you filled in the other corners the capacity could go to around 17,000? Are there plans in place to do this should the new capacity get filled regularly?

The seat numbers for 2012 are being redone so that they start at "1" in the new corner by the Rodney. This would although the club to carry the numbering on when/should they wish to fill in the NW corner with seating.
As for the 4th corner, their have been may ideas for its "development" but as this is I believe the new home of the groundstaff the best idea I've heard banded around would be for a "media centre" to be put here. This would allow for a fixed screen/scoreboard but would also allow for the current gantry TV studio etc to be moved. This fits in with another idea banded about of putting hospitality boxes along the back of the South Stand (or the remote idea of double-deckering it!)

I see, so what would the maximum expansion capacity of the stadium be? Obviously as it will have been covered there is no point in expanding a stadium which may not be filled so it would not make sense financially. But it would be nice to think you would be able to fill a 15,000 capacity stadium more than not.
