You're paying for the fixture...not the venue!

| I would think they will be posting them as officially the site is not connected with Wolves

| I must agree £25 for the south seems strange, given it is also £25 for the east. Therefore, we've bought tickets for the east. Oh and my friend who bought them by his own admission is not very good on the internet but managed to buy them from seetickets with relatively little hassle.

It says they will be posted on my email confirmation. I don't think there was another option available.

| Quote: Paul Youane "Out of interest where did you see any announcement that tickets would be on sale at Wolfware today?
Alternatively where did you see any announcement that they would be on sale via telephone booking from Seetickets?
As far as I am aware and I stand to be corrected the only places that tickets have been advertised for sale as from today are
That is totally uncalled for!
Why are they unbelievable?
Is it so unbelievable to go to a stadium where a match is due to be played and ask if they are selling tickets for that match?!
I was in the shop today buying a top as a present and asked if the tickets were available yet to buy and was also given a slip of paper with a number for seetickets and told to ring that number. No mention of the internet.
So if the tickets are only available EXCLUSIVELY ONLINE, why are people at the club itself telling people to RING A NUMBER?
Not everybody has email, reads the Guardian or this website Paul.
it is ridiculous to call somebody "truly unbelievable" for simply asking at the club shop for tickets for a game due to be played there, being told by the club to ring a number, and then ringing that number only to be told that they cannot buy tickets over the phone.
They have a right to be a little bit annoyed.

We dont know the full details of the conversation. "Can I Buy ticket for this game please? YES, you can buy them on this number" is completely different from "Can I buy tickets for this game yet? YES, ring this number for details".

I would suggest that this is yet another example of "Amateur Hour at the Apollo" by the staff in Wolfware but would no doubt be told that they are best example of customer service since the Orient Express ran its first breakfast service; therefore I will just shudder at what they will do this week when tickets go on sale via "the Facebook option" prior to general sale on Friday. I expect this place to go into meltdown and for Wolfware staff to give out various links to Warrington's Twitter account.

They were called "truly unbelievable" because they chose to refer to the "ineptitude" of various parties and describe a complete fiasco when it was all caused because they themselves could not properly read: a) an e-mail from the club; b) an advert in the Warrington Guardian; c) a news feature in teh Warrington Guardian; and d) this messageboard.
They didn't just ask for tickets whilst being in the shop for another purpose, as per your tale, they actually went to the shop to purchase tickets which have never been advertised as being on sale. At the end of the day he got tickets via a means that he wasn't entitled to, if anything he should be posting his thanks on here.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

I've just bought mine and it went quite smoothly. Only negative is that it'll be a bit of a comedown watching Australia after watching Warrington but at least it'll be a novelty.

| bought 2 tickets for the south stand from the shop today £25 each thought they were a bit expensive but I suppose its the going rate for a stadium of our size and the stature of the game.
I bought 7 tickets for the double header at wembley and they were £10 each so they even themselves out.

| Given that the Aus v NZ game was not listed on the RFL tickets at the initial date I wonder if the conversation went something like this....
RFL...... We want to use your stadium and this is what you will charge for the ticket
MrM..... Dont be stupid...this is Aus v NZ..the two best teams in the world the tickets are worth more than that.
RFL...... Nope, this is what we want for the tickets
MrM..... That will work out at £xxxxx receipts for the game.....here's a cheque. Now give me the tickets and I will sell them myself.
RFL...... Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. OK
Who is right or wrong? We shall se how many spare places there are come match day. Crowd 11k+ Mr M wins, crowd 9k or less RFL wins. (I have a sneaky feeling it will be Mr M)

| Moran effectively "bought" the rights to this game, so any profits from the ticket sales will go to the club/him.
Win win all round. RFL is guaranteed a payday and Moran makes his own little profit (based on good ticket sales).
