| I couldn't find Wire FM on the internet radio and GMR was playing up, so I listened to the BBC Radio Humberside commentary.
It was of course biased as you would expect but they were creaming themselves that they hadn't got their usual hammering. Seems like they have their sights set suitably low!
It sounded a great game, so well done wire!
Here's hoping you don't stage a last minute fightback against us on friday.

Well, they were never able to build on a very good debut album. '....Morning Glory' was a decent follow up, but everything since then has been a parody of themselves.
I can still appreciate why they remain a popular live act, as their big tunes will be forever associated with a certain era, but they've never produced anything that comes near the first 2 records since.
The break-up is a good thing, if only to stop the tedious hype that used to precede an Oasis release, which would inevitably be a bit of a letdown.

| Did Briers return to the field ? after he went off.
Any other injury news.
Couldn't make the game today due to a family birthday party which I had to go to

| far too many blown opportunities for my liking
Also, can we go forward in future, instead of sideways, which we did most of the game
Rovers gave us a lesson in execution of possession today (the only times they had the ball in our 20, they scored)
Joel looks collosal in attack, a very strong runner with the ball
onwards and upwards eh
I wonder who Morgan is going to blame for the defeat on
Jimmy Hill, Mother Theresa, Mars not being in conjunction with Saggitarius?.....it's never their fault

The first two albums are in the top ten best ever IMO. Defenitley maybe has to be the best debut album by any british band.
I agree they did lose themselves due to one thing or another but they still produced great music.
Be here now sounds better now than it was when first released but how can you beat the first two albums? It's always down hill when you make them your first records!
I don't see how the obsession with lennon brought that on though.
