Me and hubby went for a look aroud the plaza hotel after our win at wembley on Sat and Alex Murphy called us over to have a chat with him. What a man i remember him as another drop goal kicker in the seventies. Great bloke and he is so proud of our lads

Mike Bennett, Jon Stankovich, Chris Percival, Dean Cross, Stuart Dickinson (Golborne Parkside). Same class at Wigan college as Martin Gleeson.

Yes I played in the same 11 a side team as Stel in the warrington saturday league - also remember seeing Starsailor playing at the Stocks in the early days!! |

Oh yes, and I was at school with a certain Mr Cullen & he copied my physics homework once!

Years ago I was on a plane to Turkey and Neil Harmon and his wife/partner were on the same flight. He even had Wire shorts and socks on!! Must have been too tight fisted to buy some holiday clobber.
