I know that's one of your favourite statistics. However, it is flawed, because we don't know the influence he would have had on the losses he didn't play in. For example, Salford away last year - absolutely battered them but couldn't score.

sorry to say this but i think this topic is getting a bit lol,why people keep going on about eastmond as a replacement is beyond me,lot of wishful thinking me thinks,im not saying i wouldnt like him here but lets be realistic and at least look realistically at who we could get,besides to even get eastmond here we would need to lose a few to get even close to salary cap.

Hate Eastmond playing for Saints but wouldn't mind him on the team!!! He's a dangerous man!!!

Ofcourse, there is the reciprocal argument which would state that not all wins we achieved with him in the side would not have occurred without him.

Anyway, I acknowledge his on-field contribution, he has been a great on-field asset to the club. I just don't think he is irreplaceable. In fact, of course he isn't as he will be replaced one day.

The simple answer to this puzzling questions, is that rather than 'replacing' Briers we should look for someone who is going to accompany Myler and his skills, it's essential to have a half-back to partner Myler for the long term as oppose to finding the new Lee Briers, as well all know finding another player like him and his influence is near enough an impossible task.

I like Pryce as a player, although I'd question his consistency in his performances and he lacks a dominate kicking game, by that i mean getting out of our 40 and into their 40 therefore gaining field position. We are lucky to have such a good kicker in general play from dummy half in Michael Monaghan.
