its about strength in depth? all clubs will have different positions covered in their squads. i think our squad is stronger than yours due to the quality of player leeds can bring in. its rediculous to think all squads will have like for like postions covered out side the first pick 17

I will though pick you up on a couple of points
i think you a wrong, i think leeds will go with a bench of 4 big lads in the big games. ali, eastwood, burgess and any one of bailey, kirke or amor.

I also note that you are comparing like for like'"
no i wasnt see my above post
Quote: Paul Youane "
I do know that Worrall and Jones-Bishop have gone on loan for the season and cannot be recalled so do not add any depth to Leeds squad for 2010.
'"
pretty sure your wrong on this but like you i havent seen the contracts so we are both just guessing, my point was we are also loaning out a bunch of lads who are cracking players, i could have also mentioned we sold/released gibson, broughton, tansey and lost lee smith to scramble and peep. as well as having a great squad we are a big feeder club for sl.
Quote: Paul Youane "
the fact that we are being compared to Leeds' squad depth is a positive for me.'" its your own fans who are comparing?

| I do worry if we lose Carvell and/or Morley for any period of time.

| Interesting reading on the Warrington Guardian website today.
All though most of our fans don't seem to rate Lee Mitchell, he gets a special mention in the Andrew Johns interview.
In the League Expreess last week Tyrone McCarthy was nominated as our Rookie to watch.
Of the 2 who would you pick in your 17? based on what we've seen.

Nonsense. If I'm wrong why doesn't Lee Briers have No 27, or Matty Blythe No 4? Whilst TS will feel free to pick whomsoever he likes, the incumbents of the 1-13 are clearly the starting choice for the season. No doubt injury and form will move things on quickly enough, but if I were a professional player I'd be happier to be given a 1-13 jersey rather than a higher number.

So you think smith has signed atkins to not play him in the starting 13?

Atkins at centre alongside King according to this.

| Solomona to operate at prop it seems at times this season, that'll test that shoulder out.

Yes, for the same reason he has signed Solomona.

No chance, not a chance in hell. Assuming, we had a fully fit squad, he'd go with,
Mathers
Hicks
Bridge
Atkins
King
I'm pretty sure of this.
For me, I'd have King left centre, play Riley or Atkins outside him, but I reckon that's how we're lining up, Smiths telling you that in that article. That's how they've practiced, and given weather doubts, he's using this friendly to sort of put his 'first choice' team out.

Close enough. On reflection we might need a bit more to keep him on the pitch. Cotton Wool or suit of armour springs to mind.
