He needs to work on one or two discipline issues but the lads just wants to play and to win. He wanted to get on with the game and was being stopped from doing so(which is fair enough on Wires part).

I can understand why opposition fans wouldn't be his biggest fan but as a Wigan fan i'm thrilled to bits the lad is so desperate to win.

Lets not forget Wire have their very own cocky little halfback. Opposition fans hate him for many of the same reasons they're starting to hate Tomkins.

His attitude is exceptional.

His discipline needs a little work.

He does seem to have an '' streak in his personalty, his discipline is poor and needs to calm it abit more. Still very talented player, shame he doesn't shine so well in the big games when it matters.

Thought it was very dangerous by Tomkins. It was a full swing and had the boot have connected with Bridges arm it could have been very serious.

I like Tomkins, think he will be a very good player, but he really does seem to have a temper on him. Just needs to control his anger instead of directing it towards players.

As for the semi his game was abit like ours. Started like a house on fire, fell apart for 20 minutes and finished strongly.

If he improves as he should alongside the likes of Mossop, Prescott, McIlorum, Flanagan and co he'll have plenty more big games to shine in yet.
