Hey RB I aint got an axe to grind against Wigan. I had a high profile bet with another forum member that I expected your mob to finish ahead of us this season in the league. Matters have conspired against me somewhat - I thought the board would stick by Lowes for longer and never expected us to get Smith. I also expected you to kick on from last season.

We are inconsistently bad and it will take a while to lose that mantle. Having said that I bet you are getting slighly envious of our new found form?

I actually expected you to finish above us. You guys bought arguably one of the best props in SL while we got an overweight hooker and a winger 1 year earlier than expected. I didn't expect Lowes to let you down as much as he did tbh.

And I wouldn't say we are envious of your form as it was clear that TS would have an impact. I still think you will finish above us and I still expect you to beat us in the SF. I said it after Hock got banned and now that we have some players out, it will be even harder. I still expect a good match though.

RB when you have come away from as many semis/finals as I have in the 80's and early 90's where we were beaten by your full-time pro team you lose sympathy with your current plight. We owe you for sure, but I am not massively confident.

correct,i too have suffered at the hands of wigan through the 80's and 90's,if we win the semi i'll shall be gloating and baiting them with fervour as they have done in the past,i will be trolling on their board and expect to be banned instantaneously.
