He gave Hughes a rest after playing most weeks. It's probably time Currie had a rest. He's been steady in recent weeks, nothing more than that.

| Well that would be a relief. I suppose the buzz of finally getting back to first grade may have worn off a bit so as you say a rest could be a good idea

Unlikely ratchford is going to stink the place out three games in a row.
Akauola despite being still very raw and unfit and rather limited in Physical agility has shown more than Lama tasi ever has.
we have no one in the entire club pushing either half back so we are stuck with them both again.
Goodwin was a decent NRL back but i couldnt be bothered putting him in the side to replace an an ageing with very limited passing ability or a youngster who excels in no aspect of rugby league.
I exect the above side to get beat.

| For some reason Warrington sides always go through a little lull and it seems almost enjoy feeling sorry for themselves. We don’t display grunt or fight very often. It’s usually like “we’ll give it a good twenty minutes and if we concede, we’ll hey ho” and the heads drop.
I fully expect that kind of side to turn up on Monday . I really hope I’m wrong because losing three in the bounce is not good at all.

I suspect they will because the players in bold are just not good enough now (or yet). With our alleged depth of squad and low injury count - surely some must be dropped following that humbling at home?

| Our pack has been so comprehensively dominated for well over two hours of rugby, I'm not optimistic, either.

| Beat HKR & Hudds, we'll be a top team again with more winnable games on the horizon.

| I'd like another prop tbh. We're lacking a Warmsley/Fafita type.
Just starting with Hill and Cooper isn't enough to be really serious about this season.

Agreed. And when we fall short again at the end of the season we can have no complaints if we continue to play without 2 halfbacks and half a pack.

| Well, it's basically the same squad that came second at Wembley & 2nd at Old Trafford.
Austin in for Roberts & Dec in for Kev.
Looking at some of our forwards, even though they play with heart, they are not big compared to some opponents.

Agree with that. As much as I rate Philbin, he's nowhere near as effective when playing long minutes.
Tasi has the size . . . but not a lot else.
