| Crowd 3,428. There must have been more wire fans than Salford.

| Job done.
Good for 20-25 minutes, a bit 'meh' for the rest. Roberts is definitely growing into it

Exactly. 4 tries to 1. Instantly forgettable game but currently at the dizzying height of 2nd in the league!

| Bugger, looks like we'll be spending money at Wembley and Old Trafford again this year.

The table doesn’t tell the true story, and I’d say we are currently the 5th best team.
But the good news is that we have plenty of improvement in us and there’s no reason we can’t be challenging for 3rd or 4th spot in the 8s. Onwards and upwards.

If you adjust for the disparity in games played using US style winning percentage (draw counts as half a win) the table would be:
1 0.900 St Helens
2 0.778 Wigan
3 0.714 Castleford
4 0.688 Leeds
5 0.636 Warrington
6 0.500 Hull
7 0.500 Wakefield
8 0.300 Widnes
------------------
9 0.300 Hull KR
10 0.300 Salford
11 0.278 Huddersfield
12 0.200 Catalans
At the start of the season I thought we would be 6th but I feel a bit more encouraged after the past few weeks that we can at least challenge for 4th spot.
I would guess that Saints, Wigan and Leeds will be the definites in the top 4 and the other spot will be one from Cas, Hull, Wire or Wakefield. A few weeks ago I would have said Cas and Hull were a cut above and we would struggle to chase down Wakefield but it looks more even now.

Feel exactly the same. The thing that encourages me is that I think we have more improvement in attack to come, when compared to other teams. The first 20 minutes of the Salford game we looked a pleasure to watch with lines run to perfection. And Charnley looks like he’s never been away from RL.

| I haven't seen the game but listened to it on radio. Sounded like for the first 15 minutes we were almost unplayable then allowed silly mistakes to gift field position to Salford & allow them to test our defence. The second half sounded as if Salford came out with a lot more purpose & desire to win ,maybe the heavy pitch at Cas sapped our energy levels.

| I thought that the referee had a good game today. The players appeared to respect him and consequently there wasn't too many attempts to milk penalties. Mr Child et al please watch and learn.

| Kevin Brown was absolutely excellent today, in both attack and defence.
Should have been in the running for MOM
