Lewis Charnock? (Or Matty Fozard? They keep "experimenting"icon_wink.gif how was his kicking game? Lots of calls for him to be given a go in first team now Walsh is out. Naturally a 6/13 but for some reason the last 2 games he's played 9 (guess they're trying to toughen him up by defending down the middle)

It was Charnock, I heard his name over the tannoy & thought he was called Charnley so that confused me but now you say his name it was deffo Charnock.
He played well, along with Andre (somebody ) who was your number 12 they were your 2 best players. Andre looked like Sia's kid brother.
From a Wire point of view Declan Patton looked good.

| Both Andre Savelio (Played in Same latchford team as Dec Patton) and Lewis Charnock (Rylands) are Warrington lads and played their junior rugby upto u16s at Warrington clubs.
Both were offered scholarships at u15s (Around 2009) with Warrington but they chose to go to St Helens

| So Wire finally had their undefeated run ended by Saints. It was an interesting match, but Saints played with more passion and energy than we did and deserved their win. They certainly had some big forwards, in particular Savelio who scored a short range try and provide some good offloads. Saints were also very impressive in defence and Livett and Toby King were in the main, well contained. I thought Patton had a mixed game, he gave away a penalty and was not as dominant with his kicking out of hand. Meanwhile Ecclestone was moved to the wing (to make way for King) and still looks to be in a rich vein of form. Declan Kay was very secure under the high ball and Jack Johnson at full back was very dangerous coming into the line. Opposite number for Saints (Ricky Bailey ?) was outstanding in picking out the high balls and cleaning up grubber kicks close to the in goal area. Finally, I though George King was probably our best player on the field, although I see Ryan Maneely was picked out by the coaching staff who will know better than I.
Probably a good game to lose, tbh. They should have learned a fair bit from this game ( in particular, never turn your back when a quick 20m tap is being taken). There will be some tough games ahead in the playoffs, not only Saints and Wigan, but Leeds with Sutcliffe, Ward and Minchello will be tough opposition. Lets hope Tom Walker is back by then.

For the playoffs Wigan could have Tierney, Burgess, Hampshire and Williams available. That would make it an interesting series.
