| Or are we basing this on an off the cuff comment by Dave Woods who was only quoting the rumour mill ie places like this?

| Quote: Winslade's Offload "That's life I am afraid. Clark has really pushed on this year, and what is to stop anyone from asking for a transfer. I seem to recall we got Carvell from Hull just after he agreed a contract with them, and Carvell signed with Bradford in the close season then went back to Hull. There are only really two things that motivate a player; money and glory.'"
As you say Clark has really pushed on this year so his value is greater than it was last year. So if Clark asks for a transfer from Warrington the two clubs should be negotiating a fee to allow him to return to Cas: but one which is higher than what we supposedly paid Cas in the first place to allow him to come to us.
Cas should really be pushing the boat out to re-sign him as he is a top player so it would be a big signal for them, are they a selling club or are they a club willing to go out and spend big to attract the top players and compete at the top.

| Apart from Kallum Watkins, Clark is the English player i was hoping to see come to the NRL.
You have got yourself a great player there.

| Until he's pictured holding up a Wire shirt in the HJ after signing a contract in front of some press, I don't believe a word of any of this Clark talk. It's been going on too long.

Cas are a selling club and we will remain so until we get a new stadium like yourselves and unlock more revenue. Now how the Clark deal originated we dont know, whether it was agent led/player led or Warrington who came asking or as some have said Cas needed the money I dont know but it seems to me its up to the player and there have been conflicting reports in that regard. We will all find out in due course.

| Neil Barker just isn't a good journalist,he's a big salford Fan and he's quite anti Warrington.
Maybe its just his way of doing a story about Warrington and their rumoured signings without actually doing a story about us and if it makes it look like Salford are in the hunt for more star players then perhaps you can see why he's wrote that.
personally I think he's a gob poop. but that said i do like to read his stuff because its so bad...so job done on his part.

| Neil Barker is now pretty obviously making things up to make paper inches. I've thought this for some time as almost everything he predicts is tosh. He should stick to match reports.

| Well even if there was a grain of truth in this , and if the rumour is true that we have already paid for him, i wouldnt put it past Koucash to try to offer Warrington more money to get him.
