Matt King?

Heard this one floating around in the last couple of weeks. Worst rumour I've ever heard, and that's saying something. Paul Noone is nailed on though.

I think you might find this one is correct. We need a wing cover, and Williams has not come through (for me) this year. Penny is already at Swinton (R Ducky) and has been playing well this season. Why not recruit him ?

In one match Penny puts more effort and shows more enthusiasm than i've seen Williams show in three years.

In all fairness when King first arrived and for a good 18 months he didnt set the world alight did he? Perhaps Penny and the King we saw in the latter part of his stay would have been a very different partnership.

As for Penny coming back.... the jury is out!

I never rated king at left centre. He couldn't pass that great. At right wing, he was good. Even so, not brilliant, not as good as Hicks or Joel IMHO

Shame Craig Bellamy overlooked this obvious flaw in his game for so long.

Who would say king is better than monas or hicks on the right wing. Instead of saying implying im wrong, just say it.

I thought Chris Hicks played on the right wing. When Matt King played on the wing it was on the left.

Hicks was at his best outside of Bridge. As is Monas now.

Now if KP is already at our partner club why can't we just take him on loan for a few matches & see how he shapes up back in SL before we put pen to paper ?

May be my mind is playing tricks ,but i seem to remember a great clamour among the fans on here to get rid of the lad the last time he was here.

that's kind of what id being done, only that wire have signed him to loan back to Swinton instead. To train him up as so thought.
