| The best possible advert for the greatest game. I thought both sides really wanted the win and gave absolutely everything. Disagree that Bentham was lax, I thought he had a really good game. Well done Wire, tough luck Pies.

Due to a technical oversight on a third party's behalf, I was unable to attend.
Watched it in the company of a bottle of Isle of Jura Superstition
The original front 3 were FANTASTIC (and likewise in the latter end of the game), our replacement front 3 for the middle half of the game, less so, but that another arguement for another day.
Wigan permanantly not square at the play the ball in the first half. Some lax refereeing imo.
Fair play to Wigan. They threw the kitchen sink at us, but, bar a shoddy 10 minutes, we handled them very well.
We grinded a result out. No panicing. 2 points secured.
Onward, Wire.'"
A bottle of Jura - lucky man! I had a couple of beers but feel like a single malt now....have to head down to the bar.
Best game I've seen from Paul Wood for as long as I can remember.
The decision on the forward pass from Currie to Myler seemed to change the game completely - that one seemed a tough call.
Wigan did some great stuff - some of their play was fantastic.

That pass was just forward. What a game! Agree with you re Paul Wood, he was absolutely superb. Wigan really do have some tremendous young players, but what a game of Rugby League!

| I doubt we'll take anything but positives away from tonight and ultimately the result will mean little. To play like that minus 5 props plus Thornley, Green, McIlorum and Lockers is a huge confidence boost especially against a side we've had major issues with in the past.
Great game played by two sides that simply must compete in a final against each other.

| I agree. Don't want to make this a Wigan love in but their ball handling and passing accuracy was pretty special. I have to eat humble pie on Shaun Wane really as I thought he'd take them backwards after macguire but that's certainly not the case.

I' was guilty of the same thing with Wane - I thought he wouldn't last a season. He's got them playing exceptional rugby. Just shows you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row

| Best game of the season by a long way. Two superb teams who gave it everything they had. We tired a little in the last fifteen minutes and Wire sensed it. Goulding was struggling and Wire went that way.
I thought Chris Hill was outstanding tonight and caused us lots of problems down the middle.

| Some of the rugby that was played tonight by both teams was outstanding, I hope we meet in one of the finals this year as the intensity and spectacle is fantastic. If only we could have that intensity every week.

| Key to Higham, have him play for a contract, so please just keep giving him a year.

| Possibly Higham's best game in a Wire shirt.
Some good defence, and played (with ball in hand) like a man 10 years his junior.
A well deserved MoM
Hope he gets the Harry Sunderland

| Best two teams in the league , that game alone was worth the price of my season ticket , Sam tomkins is a very special player and well done Warrington for keeping him quiet for large periods of the game

| Just got back, great game of Rugby and could of gone either way.
Credit to Wires defense, barring 20 mins in the second half, we couldn't get through.
