| Quote: Wirefan "We all know what is going to happen with Bradford, don't we?
In some way shape or form, the RFL will provide the garauntee's required by (any) potential investor in order to pursue a bid. This will include ensuring that Bradford have a SL place for 2013 (and probably garauntee's beyond the existing license period behind closed doors too), in addition to an agreement to buy back the ground at cost, either upfront, or via a long term repayment deal.
Bradford will then be docked 6-10 points this year, and in 2013 it will be like this never happened.
The RFL are weak as gnats mickey when dealing with administrative matters, however, it would be a disaster to lose a club like Bradford from the SL in my opinion.'"
I wish I shared your certainty.

Yes Bradford will get wound up and somewhere down the line a group of fans/local businessmen will try and relaunch a new club and they will apply for entry to NL2.
Everyone will say the RFL are a shambles and that if it was London they would have come in and bailed them out.

Yes. Good idea from the club. It guarantees that it will go where it's most needed.

| This really is a fantastic gesture by the Warrington club, and 100% of what they are donating will go to those in need.
To Warrington, I can only say
We have history of support from Warrington - when we set up Bullbuilder, we received considerable assistance and support from Roy Chicken and the Warrington supporters trust. Indeed, we based Bullbuilder very much on their model.
I suggest these sort of gestures, and what we saw with the pledge, show that there is a lot more mutual support within the game than sometimes we appreciate?

The thing is, it's the administrator and the HMRC who have a say in whether the Bulls survive or not, based on how much funding they can generate to pay off the debts. The less money they generate, the more chance of the club being forced into liquidation.
Let's not forget, it's not the administrators fault that Bradford are in the toilet, that's down to the previous regime.
I'm not saying it's a bad idea to send the money to the supporters trust, I'm just saying it may not help in the long term

I take your point. However, the Administrator has already saved tens of thousands of pounds per month by making staff redundant. In the case of some of the staff (made redundant for financial, not for footballing, reasons), it would not be possible to put on competitive matches had they not subsequently offered their services for free - I refer particularly to coaching and conditioning staff. Without competitive matches, fans would lose interest, crowds and revenue would dwindle, and potential investors would see a less appealing spectacle. Via the hardship fund, we can help to ensure that those staff members can offer their services to the club [iwithout payment from the Administrator[/i for longer.
Still, I didn't come to argue, but to add to the thanks of others. For those interested, you can see the official BullBuilder response rlhererl.

Can't agree more - reading between the lines of Andy Gatcliffe's statement, makes you wonder how much support there is in the SL clubs for the administrators?

I think Mr Guilfoyle is paid £200 per hour. Yes, that was not a typo !
From a recent list of charges I have seen for a company in the NW being liquidated, £400 per hour is also common for the chief Adninistrator, although prices fall for an assistant and secretary. Even so, I would think the longer this drags on, the Administartor is likely to be the only winner.

It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

| It's a great gesture by Warrington for this weekend and going to the right place in my view.
You were very good to us last year as well in our hour of need and we still appreciate the help you gave us. Tony Smith speaking out in our favour was also much appreciated and permanently raised him in my estimations.
Well done to all involved at your club who truly adopt the "family game" approach.
