could`nt get interested in the game..no atmosphere and it seemed to be played in exhibition mode..end of the day it proves nothing we`ll still get beat by the aussies and kiwis..we simply not good enough on the international stage...more importantly did any of our players get injured and will any of our players double up for the salford game

Have to disagree with that, apart from supporting James graham's fine break for a simple run in i thought he was fairly anonymous as were both our half backs, his kicking from hand wasn't the best either.

Robinson was England's most dangerous player especially in the first half, James Graham best in the forwards and Sam Tomkins did 2 great try saving tackles. Chris Bridge got no quality ball so wasn't really involved, Brett Hodgson almost blew it for the Exiles when he cut back inside and went for glory rather than passing to supporting players on his right for a simple try.

Its not his game - he's a support player. TS has developed his defence which was spot on tonight.

It's hard to hold back on you KW, but this time I will. Westwood was tremendous tonight. I think Myler suffered because Sinfield seemed totally lost playing at 6. He and Peacock were picked on past reputation, not on recent performance, and Ryan Hall looked like he'd been training at MacDonalds all week. Myler was actually involved in 2 try saving tackles, as was Sam, but as has often been said on this site, his style of play is not being the number one organiser, he just is not that type of player, and there is no point in McNamara putting him in that role.
By the way, how did the TV thing go?

Myler just still has to add a LOT more to his game for me to be considered regularly for England.

He is a fantastic support player, probably the best in the league, but to be on the shoulder of a break, you have to create the opportunities in the first place. Those type of chances come steadily in SL, and against France, but against the top sides they need to be created and as such you can't rely on only 1 HB to do that. Unfortunately for England tonight there were no half backs, just a great run from James Graham (who is a half back in his head tbf!).

Lomax would have been in the side tonight ahead of Sinfield for me, Myler would still probably have made the side but probably just through lack of other options at the minute.

He is still very young though, and is still one of the better players in the league. He needs to just start stalking Briers so he can at least begin to show some semblance of being able to control a side.

Sinfield shouldn't be near a england shirt is is dire

I put the blame on big mac for playing myler because he cant change the way he plays overnight and his style is not what england need, we needed brough but sods law took that option away from us

I posted players on our forum players who need dropping for me are-Hall,Myler,Sinfield,peacock and i'll add morley why whelam and yeaman didn't get picked is pretty mind boggling

The show is tomorrow i booked ibis but had to unbook it cause my mate couldn't come down tonight so we are having a road trip set off at 5am icon_lol.gif

Maybe go back to the old days and play a full Wigan side eh KW....?
Do you honestly think Yeaman and Welham are better options at centre than Bridge and Shenton...?

Bridge looked poor, but all the backs did cos they recieved no service from the halfbacks.

I'd have McGillvary in for Hall, keep Shenton and Bridge but just try and get some quick ball to the backs.

Yeaman deserves a place, but would he have done better Bridge and Shenton tonight?
