True - but when everyone is fit those two wouldnt be in any Wigan's fans 17 - or coach McGuires either

He seems to be a fan of Tusons though, not quite sure why.
You still said fully fit "squad though"
I also hope he doesn't play Fielden, he rushed Finch back for the Wire game at the start of the year and you could tell he wasn't ready (at least for a game of that magnitude).

Things I learned on 11/08/12
Gareth Hock can't pass
Gareth Hock can't run
Gareth Hock can't fight

| 1905, I like you. You are almost always on the money (toxic coming from me- I know) and are always balanced. But, what have you been smoking?
I agree it is horses for courses. But the basic fact is Myler would (even with Wigan's dire halfbacks) have scored, i would wager, more than double the tries Lulu would have scored. Would have had a much greater impact on the direction of the games and is, fundamentally, a better 7 than Lulu.
I honestly think these pie trolls are getting worse. Lulu suits Wigan's hooking needs well. But you can not use this 'players work well in their respective teams' line on this debate. Monas/ Roby.. yes. They have polar opposite roles. Myler is better than Lulu in every measurable way, at 7. Myler has clearly shown this year he can lead any team (even without Briers) and can score from anywhere. For god's sake, I never saw Lulu cut out a pass as good as the one to Wood, that sealed the game against an almost fully fit Sts team, a few weeks ago.

So you believe that if Leuluai was English, Myler would be picked at 7 for England before him?

that is a question on McBanana's selection skills. I would pick Myler at 7 and lulu as interchange hooker.
and he'd be lucky to get that spot. Roby is better than him by a long way and regularly plays for 80.

yes because leuluai is a hooker.... if he was english he would be picked as a hooker alongside roby.
is Deacon not your first choice 7 when fit?

I've already said that I believe Leuluai is a better hooker than he is 7, that doesnt mean Myler is a better 7 than him. Leuluai played 7 for the exiles and ran rings round him.
If Piggy was still playing for Wigan, and we had a straight choice between having Myler at 7 or Leuluai at 7 it would be Tommy every single time.
Why dont you ask some of the Wigan posters who you stated are the only ones that speak sense eh?

| Leuluai is like our very own Monas. Decent at 7, and both have won top individual awards in that position in finals, but I'd still pick Myler over both to play at scrum half.
