| Drivel from 20 minutes to 60. We seriously need to buck our ideas up from now on. The scoreline flattered us. So many times our centres/wingers were left isolated. On one occasion, FOUR of our players contemplated making a tackle on a Wigan ball carrier. None of them bothered, result, a try. We're light years behind them. They could have the LLS wrapped up by August.

| Current Wigan team almost impossible to beat on a surface & conditions like today. It's a good job there are few artificial pitches about in SuperLeague.

| When does Paul Vaughn come out of hiding after Ellis worked him over in the first couple of sets. Poor lad had heart the size of a pea.

| We treated it as an exhibition and Wigan a business trip, Dufty to 6, Taylor-Wray at fullback would give us more attacking options, similar to Field and French. Hayes and Leyland not good enough.

| WireFanatic:That prick Wilkin absolutely loving this result. I wouldn't know I find the idea of watching Sky Sports punditry about as inviting as swimming with sharks. Volume off at half time, and tv turned over at full time. Rinse and repeat.

Hayes and Leyland not good enough. You've done well to pick Hayes out as one of your two players to criticise from that performance last night.

| I've been watching the Wire since 1963 and in the big matches they rarely fail to disappoint. If you can't get yourself up for a match like tonight, then you never will. Lindop and Thewlis looked like rabbits caught in the headlights. Hopefully they will learn from the occasion. Why we constantly play one up football bemuses me. We are not big enough. We should be looking to offload to supporting players or throw the ball around playing to our strengths. And why oh why do the wingers keep jamming in when defending. They leave space which good teams like Wigan will exploit all the time. I'll get off my soapbox now and hope this was just a blip in our season.

| I thought we did ok in the first 15 minutes and made a couple of half breaks. The disallowed try probably should have stood. After that we were completely out-classed and our edge defence was really poor. I'm not sure in hindsight we should have played Leyland who is quite diminutive against this big Wigan side. I thought our pack was dominated overall. Only Harrison looked good when he came on but why did Sam leave it so late in the game to get him on the field? For me he should be starting prop over Yates. Overall very disappointing. It seemed Wigan got the bounce of the ball on a couple of their tries and everything seemed to go right for them. They are a champion team after all. Much to work on Sam..

| Not sure Leyland being diminutive is the issue, it was his technique. If a bigger guy is running at you, your task is to try to grab his knees/ankles and hope someone helps you out up top. What you don't do is jump into that big man's chest or you will end up in your looking daft. He wasn't the only one by the way, the number of times we actually got to French in particular and just got bumped off was ridiculous. If he does you with footwork or a bit of skill, fine, but he's not so strong that our players should be brushed off.
