Where did you read this to summarise it?
If that was true, I doubt very much he’d have been added back to the squad.
Walker has been great, but his form has been poor, he was dropped. I know he is not in the slightest gobby.

Are there any other first team players available for selection that are not named in the squad? Remember Cooper and King were being shopped while still playing at the weekend.

| Danny Walker is vital to providing variety from dummy half. For all he is "good" Daz Clark is pretty one dimensional at times. Perhaps Mr Powell has heard that Brad Dwyer is leaving Leeds .

We have just lost our fullback…it’s hardly rocket science to work that Powell doesn’t think Riley Dean is ready for regular SL. With that, it’s now the area we need filling with urgency. The Cooper and King deals were done in days, more probably hours and until that point of leaving, they are still wire players on a payroll.

You asked why he is in the squad. I responded implying that there are no other fit first team players. If he was being considered for selection, unless he wasn’t fit at the time, common sense would have been at Magic. Widdop was fit, Williams played. Ratchford and Matautia played. We had a back up for fullback on the wing and Currie and Nicholson are capable of centre cover. Yet he put Dean on the bench, and recalled him to do so. Unless there is some premonition that Widdop was to bust his shoulder, I can’t understand the logic of having a half on the bench with all of those options on the field. Another forward or a back up dummy half would have made sense.

I've mentioned this a couple of times, our standard bench set up has been, 3 middles and walker to spell clark, or Davis in th3 walker spot.
Contrast this with saints who prior to this year had welsby on the bench who got minutes wherever aside from prop, he just filled in, he got time on the field then last year had his break out (which again was filling in half/fb/centre or wing, then saints had Dodd as a fixture on the bench, they were able to do this as they hadn't committed to the two hookers tactic. It appears now that Powell is trying to do this accommodate at least one junior player on the bench, if he can't fit them into the starting line up.

| So….we’ll see tomorrow whether he’s in the 17 or not and take it from there. All I know is that no one on here knows…..except Duckie…..who NEVER knows, so he may not know that he doesn’t know. You know?

No, get Powell in to run a train operator. He will tell the staff: you've been in comfort zone for the past few years having it easy. The public have the right to expect more. We're going to modernise things round here.
Then Mick Lynch and his RMT pals pop up saying we're not having this we're going to ballot for a strike.
DP says fine, if you won't modernise get out, I'll hire agency workers to do the job instead.
The money obsessed Tory bosses back DP to the hilt.
Now the big question is, do those agency workers come in and lead to an improvement in rail performance, or does the system completely collapse and the public say you know what we were actually better under the old regime!

Eventually, a far left revolution would happen, and railways and rugby league would both be nationalised. Then Warrington could go back to being just about good enough to function, with the odd catastrophe every now and then. Just like British Rail.

You’re extolling the virtues of rail privatisation there champion, do carry on……should be interesting, especially if you can garner some public support for how users of said service feel about the last 20 or so years of privatisation of railways.
