| Puts on tin hat & heads for bunker....i bet we'd do just as well with Dec & G O'B than our present pairing.

Pretty sure RD's heavy artillery will offer you covering fire on that one, still even with that assist likely on offer I hope its a big bunker.
For what it's worth everytime I have seen widdop for England and also the few occasions I've seen some NRL he has looked great, no way has he become a bad player overnight, same goes for Austin. In my opinion, ultimately, the coaches job is to get the best from the players they have at their disposal and there is no way thats been achieved at wire this season, I could take being beaten by a better side on the day if we had played well but we didn't and that's why for me price has to go. I would be far happier starting next season with Paul Anderson ideally or Henderson at a push, depending on his dynamic with the playing squad (no point if he has been acting as Steve prices good cop for the past 2 season) of course that's only actually relevant if either of them would actually want to take the job on!

| I think if we’re going to see a change to our acceptance of mediocracy, it’ll be in the next few weeks. Maybe they are waiting for the end of the season.
If it doesn’t come now, why will it ever come? Price staying is the top brass saying ‘this is okay with us, more of this please’.

You really believe that that is the only interpretation that could be put on failing to sack Price? Seems a very simplistic view to me.

| I completely understand there’s a whole array of others factors that may well be part of the decision. I just believe that whatever they are, they are completely secondary to Warrington’s championship aims. Many people on here, me included, have commented on our need to be more ruthless. Surely, this is where we start? And surely accepting another season of Price, whatever the mitigating factors, is an acceptance of that mediocrity?

| OK I have it. Been wracking my brains for you lot, as I actually like Wire. I liked the way you played under TS, and I like Chris Hill and Daz Clarke.
Greg Inglis can play stand off. Used to play there in early Storm days. Has the skill set, and kinder on his body. I would!

Then after he had signed them we could replace him as coach with Briers who at least would prioritise signing a gamebreaking halfback with a dominant kicking game.

Honestly think we should have given him a squad number at one stage!

I won't repeat my earlier post but sacking Price will cost the club a lot of money that it currently does not have. Instead of flinging unfair insults at the directors, why not start a Crowdfunding effort to raise enough money to pay off Price's contract?

| I’ve already given them the money from a season ticket I didn’t get to use which has apparently been spent on another boondoggle in Inglis.

| I was very happy that we got season ticket value streaming through the OurLeague app and I probably watched more games than normal. As I have been watching the team since 1958, I will be buying a season ticket in 2021....resilience anyone ?
