Daryl Clark hasn't impressed me much but I'm not going to go out saying we should get rid of him.

I see O'Brien, Myler and soon to be Wheeler are the new Riley's, Wainwright's, Clarke's..........the Wire scapegoats. All defeats are their faults.

Clark unlike Higham hasn't knocked on 2 weeks running leading eventually leading to trys up the other end though.

Philbin ran a great line then.

So Higham is another scapegoat then? I'll add him to the list.

Personally O'Brien hasn't been too bad, Wheeler and Monaghan have had a nightmare, Philbin has a very 'French' style of forward play.

I'm not making Higham as the scare goat. Wire111 are you only see what you want to see because I point something out?
The posts prior were about Clark being poor, he hasn't set us a light but it needs pointing out he makes few errors. However Higham has been the opposite this new season. That is by no means an attack about him being keen enough.

No, Clark hasn't set us alight yet, and neither has O'Brien, but to say GOB needs to get shut of is just bordering on ridiculous. I'm just sick to death of the same players being in the firing line every time we lose a game.

To be fair most would have struggled with that

penny and philbin have tried ..the rest may have to take a long hard look at themselves...

Like last week, this game shows the weakness we have at hb.
Wheeler and GOB v Dureax and Carney.
Myler and GOB v Widdop and Marshall.

These are all too obvious mismatch in hb.

Last season we had 6 or 7 wonderful games where we smashed all teams with Ratchford and Bridge.
It has to be the answer.

Its an early knee jerk statement but i honestly don't see this wire side making the top four.

Worryingly we don't have tries in us which is why I put us firmly behind saints Wigan and leeds. And Catalan have just beat us without breaking sweat.

Wire111 I'm not one of the get GOB out brigade, however it's obvious from todays game the hb's are our achillies heel.

Russell, i like the lad, the effort and the bravery are there but he is a bit of a one trick pony, his kick returning his brilliant but he doesn't bring anything else.

I only say this because i think we look better when Ratch is at 1, i think Wheeler would be a cracking No.1 too, Penny is too similar to Russell but with the added advantage of knowing how to play as a winger, Russell doesn't really suit anything other than the battering ram kick returner, his link up play isn't that great.

He was nowhere near at fault for todays game(not even close) but he does seem like a player in a position that is better suited to other people without the vesatility to move elsewhere.
