Nutcase. Signed for Leeds. Played 15 minutes. Dislocated his elbow smacking someone. Got nicked while he was recovering from the injury. Served out the rest of his contract at Her Majesty's Pleasure.

Players were always going to get tangled up when they mixed it with Hag...
He was bandaged arms and legs, it was like playing rugby against Mr Tickle!

| Paul Hulme & Shaun Edwards- both dirty little to$$ers on the pitch.
As other have said Andy Greg had moved on to Wigan before Roach and Davidson played in our pack. Phil Blake and John Woods were the half backs in that team. Davidson and Blake refused to come back and play in the semi v Wigan at Maine Road. They were both rewarded for their loyalties and given lucrative contracts by Wigan a year later. No conspiracy theories there...no sir.

| Haggerty took it as a personal affront every time he was tackled...He'd want to fight the tackler. He's near the top of the list of dirty players...He wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer...When asked by an Australian journalist where he was from he said *Link Avenue just off Chain Lane, Blackbrook.

| Didn't Haggerty once head butt a goat after it had hit him?

i hated tuuta at cas, i was mortified when it was revealed that we'd signed in him in 98.
that said for the first part of the season, i couldn't fault him he played quite well, then we went to the stoop and kicked out of mark carroll, legally and illegally, it was hilarious listen to carroll crying to the referee trying to get him sent off.
Then he became a penalty giving liability

Not completely correct, Blake was refused by the club but promised a release if we made the final. Perhaps it was different for Davidson?
It was following that decision Higham said we will no longer buy a player on a short term contract.
So the next season we raided RU (welsh)

The story actually is that he was asked where he was from and said "Thatto Heath". The Australian journo said "Where's that?" and Haggerty replied "Top of Elephant Lane."
