When UTD are there it's a few hundred over 75,000. They knock about 2,500 off for the RL games to cater for the presence of the big screen.

| Quote: Winslade's Offload "No, I don't think that is necessarily true. I looked at the seating (block) plan last night and it showed there were 6 blocks in the west stand that were not full (orange). Today it is shown as completely full (red). So either they are marking the seats as sold at time of sale, or they are also selling west stand tickets to the general public. I assume the west holds about 20,000 ? which would presumably be our club allocation.
As previously mentioned, the south is now marked as sold out, and there are only 3 blocks left in the east. The north also seems to be filling rapidly.
It does look like a sell out.'"
I certainly hope thats the case, although would have expected the club to announce the fact that they had sold every ticket....?
I thought they were selling select blocks in the West to the general public.

cheers. Well that was almost a full house so I guess this will sellout. I think wire v Leeds 2010 was the 1st sellout cc final.
Has the gf been mooted as a sellout before?

That would explain the marking as sold then. So it looks as though the club does have a fair number of tickets left, otherwise I think they would have made some form of announcement.

| I went on the rl website and tried click and buy....
Wire end sold out, pie end 2 blocks still available there, which would suggest wire out selling them much faster.
There was nothing available down the main posher side, right of Stretford End and limited blocks in the gods on the other side.

| Looks like they have put more tickets on the RFL website today, two blocks left in the far left of the south stand, four left in the Stretford End and a fair few in the North stand. It will be a travesty if this doesn't sell out!

I wouldn't say that.
Wembley hhas been the RL showpiece for 80 odd years.
The GF is a relative newbie in contrast, attendances have been building year after year.
but I would hazzard a guess that a quarter of the Wembley attendance are supporters who would go regardless of which team were involved.

| Wembley is a great day for families, groups and most all pretty friendly but Old Trafford thats a whole different kettle of fish. The atmoshere is unfriendly and intimidating. No probs for me but families? It shoul;d be agreat day out for people within 30 mile radius as the transport links are good and its reasonable to get mini buses etc.
