| if Morley and les boyd went toe to toe at the peak of their game i think the world would implode before anybody would win.
If any other of our players bar carvell had took those hits i don't think they'd just jump up the way morley did.

| I think that in Carvell and Morley we have the two best starting props in the league IMO.
They bash the opposition up a little then we bring on the fast legs of Higham and he runs them about and tires them.
Adrian Morley though is a very good forward because no matter how much he gets knocked about he gets back up and knocks them harder.

To be fair I think most payers in Super League would jump up. There was nothing in the hit just caught him off balance.

| Check out the Opta Stats in the League Express. Morley put in 26 carries for 237 metres - awesome effort.
Credit to Scott Murrell though too, who put in an astonishing 60 tackles!

| Remember all the horsemuck that was said when we signed Morley:
- The Roosters didn't want to give him a 2 year deal because they knew he was past it.
- He was a good player at Leeds but past his prime.
- Yes he'd be a decent signing but no way near worth paying what Warrington were paying.
- Everyone else was willing to give him a 2 year deal but Warrington were mugs for offering 4 years which would take him up to being 33. He would be lucky to last two of them.
He's 3 years into his 4 year deal and looks to be coming into his prime. I think he will get a new one year extension with us before he finishes his career at Salford. Proof that with props older and more experienced is generally better, look at the success Steve Price and Ruben Wiki have had in the NRL, and Shane Webcke in the latter years of his career. Also when Mike Gregory was coach of Wigan he got to a Grand Final with a Dads army front row of O'Connor, Pongia and Craig Smith, they've never had as much power up front since.

Saw that & couldn't believe it as the nearest Wire player was on 140 metres I think

But only made 13 tackles in approx 60 minutes playing time. Thats only 1 tackle every 4 and a half minutes. The mans shirking his tackling duties.
Or are the opposition players avoiding running at him
Seriously another outstanding performance from Mr Morley. Its almost time to start substituting the name Adrian Morley into all the Jack Bauer statements.
"Adrian Morley never retreats, he just attacks in the opposite direction"

His tackle count is slightly lower than his averagem he usually comes in with around 22 per game.

Maybe even more. He played the first half hour and then I think he reappeared about 15 mins into the 2nd half. Add on the golden point session and thats a good 60 mins.
The man is a machine

It was actually 12 all when him and Carvell came back on after 50 mins, so KR did still have a good spell with them on the field.
Morley played 65 minutes in that case.
