It’s probably not a good sign for you but as a Wigan fan I like Price. He seems a really good guy and it’s a shame he’s under pressure. I thought you were really impressive in the first two weeks, firstly at our place and then you whacked Saints. The teams attitude looked great but there’s been a slump since.

I hope Price survives and I don’t mean that in a jokey ‘I think he’s rubbish’ way. If he could get you to play like you did in those first two weeks, with a bit more consistency then you’d go well. He looks like a coach that can raise you for big games but he’s struggling to keep it going week to week.

Plus 21 per game since he became boss, Average points conceded 18

Who on earth decided to employ Steve Price has to go with him, his record as a coach in Australia was a 36% win ratio. Steve obviously can not motivate the the players at his disposal, we are devoid of ideas, any attacking flair. He needed a performance out there last night from the players and didn’t get one, they are obviously not playing for him. I just hope whoever does come in, if we have the balls to do the right thing by the supporters and get rid, drops Hill as captain. This needs to be a priority, he never has been or will be the right man for the job. We need the guys at the top to take a good hard look at what is going on. The players need to have a word with themselves as well, last night was a disgrace.
