When the format was first announced I suggested that they scrap magic weekend as it is and make it the first weekend of the 8's, so everyone has a regular number of home and away games in the first phase and in the 8's. Still seems the fairest solution to me

Be that as it may UR, but he was very lethargic. He's a man mountain and I found it frustrating watching him while everyone around him went after that win. I'm not asking him to be a Grahame West, but just to speed up when tackled, to get up off the deck faster and allow the backs to benefit.

Disappointed with the minutes played by Big Roy but his game was okay but had speed up to his feet, as it was with Sims and Hill, and they really put us on the front foot.

You couldn't market Magic Weekend if no one knew until two weeks before it what day they'd be playing on and who their opposition would be.

Attendances would drop massively.

Sorry RD we will agree to disagree Roy played decent minutes in comparison to other games he's played and whilst England might not be Graeme West he's not a cross between Timothy and Mae West like you're making out either

Myler was great yesterday, his short kicking game was excellent. Don't see why england should be singled out, he was ok.

First half we were great going forward, second half solid defensively, for those that weren't there I guess the score line tells the story, this team has been building for a few weeks, today was another step towards it. We may have left ourselves too much to do, but really looking forward to the rest of the season.

Which in turn set up a comedy classic chant from the Cas' fans of "it's a Try, it's a try it's a try" the next time we went close which was very funny.

On the next play, no guesswork required, it was a try and it would have been a bit remiss just to let that go.

Fair play to the Cas' fans coming out of the ground, didn't hear much moaning or gnashing of teeth just ruing some lost points for play off rugby.

I found the Cas fans great too UR. I don't dear think how our reaction would be if we faced such a event at the hj.
