As for the origins of songs, who knows? Warrington and Catalan fans have a very close relationship, you as a Wigan fan should understand why we have the relationship we do as it stems from the semi final at the HJ Wigan v Catalan AND/OR from the fact we take so many over to Catalan. I think they released away fans ticket numbers sales through the years and we have always been the highest despite not having the biggest fan base. Catalan have a good relationship both on and off the field with us.
We have similar relationships with Hudds fans...it shows we are not the monsters that certain clubs make us out to be

The Warrington historic ties with Catalans were formed in 2007 when we all supported Les Cats in the Challenge Cup semi final, we did this because we were so excited about a new franchise in Super League and thought it would be great for the game if they made a major final and it would help expand rugby league across borders.

I think the good tie between the clubs from that day is why they chose Wire for the Barcelona game in 2009. From which the ties between the two clubs grew further still.
