Get this straight

Far Superior than Wigan and Wire? How? I agree it is better than Leeds and as I haven't been to Saints new ground I cannot say either way but it does look a great stadium from the pics.

Other than Wembley, it's the only true "bowl" in Superleague, with no corners open to the elements. Seating with leg room and space for even the fattest posterior. Plenty of toilets, great facilities for wheelchair and ambulent disabled, plenty of food/beverage outlets, car-park facilities within easy walking distance, an excellent park-&-ride scheme.

Apart from the "bowl" that sounds like a lot of other stadiums really. Also isn't Saints new stadium a "bowl"? I dont see the big deal in the bowl really anyway, I really enjoy going to Wigan and the view from the seats are good. Also at wire you get a really good view from the away end.
I will say the KC is nice but it's nothing special

Quote: cod'ead "Similarly there is nothing preventing any away fan from sitting in our South Stand at £19 ubt most on here prefer to moan about paying the same price as last year'"

Come off it. I'm sure most Hull fans are very nice but there is definitely a minority who would ensure away fans were not welcome in the South Stand.

Secondly, it is not the same price.

Thirdly - I thought Hull were determined to improve their image, make themselves a more friendly club and aim for sell out crowds? Your "like it or lump it" attitude on this thread is not exactly helping, is it?

Same price as last year then? At least that's what Adam Pearson said:

www.warringtonwolves.org/on-the- ... -hull-4642

Looks to me like adults have increased by £1 whilst concessions and juniors by £3 and £2 respectively.

Have they increased the prices by the same in the home stands this year?

"bleating" ?! I've posted one reply onto a discussion thread. I notice quite a few people on this thread state they were going to take it further and contact the club and/or raise the issue at a fans forum. As a result, Hull have issued a statement attempting (but failing) to defend their position. Not a great result in this case, but don't think that discussing something on an internet forum can't lead to action - it often does.

I emailed the club before they put out the statement, i didn't get a personal reply but the statement was enough, to be honest i was going to write down the reply i thought i was going to get before i received it as i was certain how they'd word it AND they didn't let me down. Then AP comes out with "i don't know where people pulled out the £25 figure"
Maybe that's because if i walk up i pay £25, rocket science it isn't. He says prices are in line with other clubs yet off the list i compiled the average price is £19 so actually he's wrong again.

The worrying thing is that cod'ead comes across as reasonable enough on the Hull board, imagine if any of the others escaped the pen.

I'm also amused by the idea that 'there's nothing stopping' Warrington fans going into the South Stand - it's been acknowledged over on the Hull board that the stewards would put a stop to it. Trips to the magnificent bowl stadium are characterised by elderly chaps with high blood pressure screaming abuse at anyone who looks like they may be from a different gene pool, so I can only imagine the camaraderie of sitting amongst the home contingent.

And again: how much does it cost an away supporter to sit at the HJ?

Isn't the East stand the home stand? So how much is seating at the away end?

The East stand is open to anybody.

If you class the West stand as the away end then it's standing (Nothing to stop you sitting on the floor though)

As is the South Stand at the KC

Quote: Tin Soldier "If you class the West stand as the away end then it's standing (Nothing to stop you sitting on the floor though)'"

So, if I visit as an away fan and I want to sit down (in a seat), as close to my fellow-away fans as possible, how much would that cost me?
