I swore I wouldn't mention it but the open support for the BNP in disguise (UKIP) in this board is a little scary; if only for the fecklessness. They are are cack handed bigots. Jus my opinion.

I blame david lloyd george. Shouldn't have introduced the notion of a pension. Created a country of softies!

At worst, UKIP are a bunch of slightly right of centre eccentrics, who don't like throwing our money the way of Euro wasters in Brussels/Strasburg etc, which I'm in total agreement with them

Couldnt have put it better myself, wanting this country to be in charge of its own affairs and not dictated to by the EU DOES NOT put you in the same bracket as someone who votes for the BNP

The BNP are parties of their ilk are designed to appeal to disenfranchised primarily working class people - hence Hitler's "National Socialism" - looking for easy scapegoats for their problems. Their target audience is not natural right wingers as such - ie Tory voters.

UKIP are basically the British equivalent of the Tea Party in the US, conservatives who don't feel "their" party - Tory here, Republican there - are as conservative as they want them to be. Essentially the hardcore right. Obviously they're not exactly the same because UKIP are a seperate party whereas the Tea Party elect Republican candidates, but the politics are very similar.

UKIP are not the BNP but you'll be carrying my coffin before I put my cross next to either of them.

I won't stress this too much because 1) I don't care and 2) it is a major derailment. However, we shall play a little game:

Which political party wants “an immediate five-year freeze on immigration for permanent settlement”? BNP or UKIP or Both?

I know what you are thinking, the BNp are racist and specify that they don't want 'Pakis' and 'blacks' in the country. Well not anymore, the BNP have been forced to curtail that sort of rhetoric and are now more in line with UKIP's insistance that "“a significant proportion of immigrants and their descendents in Britain are neither assimilating nor integrating into British society”. See UKIP and BNP are quite similiar.

Next, which party has policy of insighting (extreme) islamaphobia through (potenital) policy?

That's right both again. We are already familiar with Nick Griggins hatred of Muslims, however, Frarage has promoted policies such as the banning of certain muslim dress in all public, as well as many private, places (more extreme than the BNP; who promote only a public ban)

I said i wouldn't go on but there are many areas in which the BNP and UKIP are almost identical including the EU, Climate Change, Military spending, foreign policy, crime (in fact, UKIP goes further than BNP in their repealing of the human rights act)

Even their view of edcation (a 'Britain is never in the wrong' outlook) has been forwarded by both parties (including, to the detrmient of learning of other nations triumphs)

There is a more than passing similiarity between the parties and I feel that maybe you should research the party more before nailing their colours on your door.

They are a lot further right than some of you are suggesting.

I'm just saying, do a little research. It seems a few people have been caught up in party politics. Banded on to hot buttons that appeal to them.
