Imagine how weird it must have been for the Hull players raising there game to play in a worse ground in front of a smaller crowd then what there used to.

| No complaints from me about loosing tonight. Least not forget hull would have beaten Wigan if it wasn't for dodgy penalty.
I thought Ellis had a quiet game, the young hull winger is what we need

Did you go to the game?
Wigan won by eight points.

On reflection, I think tonight will be the highlight of your season. You wont win anything, and a good away win will be the best you will muster this season.'"
Not seen much of us have you?
We made a stuttering start to the season, mostly through not being able to find or field a half-back combination that worked together. The Good Friday loss to HKR was our nadir, it caused the team to take a long, hard look at themselves and since then, there has been a steady improvement in both attitude and application, helped by players returning from injury.
I'm confident that last night's game will be far from our season peak and there'll be more upsets to come as the squad gel on the field.

Blinkered springs to mind, saying that I would be more than happy for you to come to Hull in the playoffs it would mean our form of late as continued and we have pushed up the table. 1 loss in the last 7 matches is a step in the right direction for me, we get better every week.

Less pressure obviously. A step up from a game at craven park though

| Hull fully deserved the victory. I thought they started brightly and finished in equal fashion.
What annoyed me (as a neutral) was the stop-start nature of the game. If it wasn't an error, it was a penalty. Don't think Silverwood helped matters and I could not work out when he was going to give a penalty and when he was going to let it go? I don't think he is a great ref tbh.
Something that I feel needs to be made more of is Ratchford's behaviour to the ref after Hull's try - to take the lead in the second half maybe? I thought running up to the ref like that was out of the order. If that was Wellens there would have been outrage at his behaviour. I'm glad Phil Clarke pointed it out, the others did not seem to care that the ref had to shout at a player like that to tell him to shut up.
And that 'no try' decision for Hull early on was a shocking decision! After that I thought the Wolves took control of the game so it was a turning point.

| Was it 20-6 we lost the second half by? Hull kicked us to death. Tackled well and attacked fluently and at pace and thoroughly deserved to win.
My two-penneth
Overall Pace - We lack genuine pace in our backs, it was made stark in contrast when compared to Hull.
Atkins - Runs the ball in hard, but he is so much more than a battering ram, just wish he would show it. Poor hands and he fluffed that chance when we were 3 on 1 with the full back. A natural centre would have had little difficulty with the inside ball to Myler.
Chris Riley - can have a spell at another club for me. Terrible defensively - technique, decision making, and positioning, never beats a man on kick return, and never backs himself to score or take the outside. Good finisher from 3m out but we need more. Joel outshines him so much and shows what we are missing in a true quality left wing.
Ratchford - I'm a big fan of his. His elusiveness, guile and enthusiasm is good to see.
Waterhouse - Looked a real handful first half but a full 80 does seem to tire him.
Micky Higham - Probably his best season at the Wire.
Carvell - Awesome impact when he came on.
Paul Wood - I am afraid is rather indifferent at the moment. The offloading Woody of 2010-11 seems to have gone.
Mike Cooper - I just don't understand what Illawarra see in him. I will wish him well but cannot say I am concerned at the loss.
Ben Westwood - Just what has happened to the Super Ben of previous years? Aggression seems to be there but his impact is limited and daft high tackles are starting to be more common.
Glenn Riley - Ran the ball in hard and showed enthusiasm.
Ben Currie - Honeymoon is over, needs to start showing his attacking prowess as he did in the reserves.
Chris Bridge - Need him back desperately as a strike centre.
Briers - Good to see him back, rusty and played the last 25 minutes on 1 leg. Expect him to be out for a bit.
Season going as expected for me. 3-4th in the league but no SL final appearance and Wembley final if we can avoid Wigan at Catalan Away en-route.

Apparently Gentle's halftime instructions were to kick for field position and cut out the errors. That resulted in only one error in the last 40 and a completion of our last 17 sets

This is why nobody likes Warrington fans.

| Best team won, no quarrels from me. Ref dreadful though.
Hull disallowed try for a push? Really, that was a push, it was two men competing for the loose ball.
Hull's allowed try, i think every time I've seen a runner take out a defender close to the man with the ball it's been disallowed, so what's different now (consistency please RFL)
Whiting try, jebus great pass from the Quarter Back for that one, touch judges stealing a living.
Dodgy try's aside Hull's tactics spot on.

If not dropping the ball for two tackles and kicking on the third is a 'completed set' then yes, i agree.

Obviously you like a few others on this thread are unaware of Sally's tongue in cheek approach to this forum, read a few of Sally's other posts for a clue to the posting style.
