| We are constantly told it just confidence. A win vs Wigan will mean confidence is restored and it cannot possibly be used the week following....
So TS and Agar must get that chance....then there will be no excuses....it's the best scenario for anyone in the TS out camp.
It is finate.

But has he not had sufficient shots at the next game already? How long does this, or should it, go on for?

| Its clear that recent performances show that the players have downed tools. If there is a difference on Saturday it will only be there because the players want a shot at Wembley. Win or lose the bell should toll for TS and RA on Sunday.

So theoretically if we win that game and end up with a run or win-loss-win-loss etc and still end up in the MPG that will be acceptable? The long run of bad form and clear decline is there for all to see. Add this to 2014, 2015 and it doesn't really look good.
If we win the MPG do we give the coach a chance to show an improvement next year and accept a finish than 12th as an improvement?
We've had four years of mediocrity with one year of limited success and we've all been kidding ourselves that this is fine based on the fact we won 3 cups earlier in the coach's tenure. Our ambition doesn't match our stature as the wealthiest club and it's time we realised that - would Wigan, Saints or Leeds accepted such a long run of no success? We don't even entertain when not winning trophies...

That wasn't what I said. It was one sentence. He has the right for the next game, not W L W L W L..Agar should go at the next defeat in 2017.

| As one of the wealthy elite clubs we should have Board room structure that is identifying talent for the field and the coaching areas way in advance of what the reality shows. There is far too much sentimentality going on at this club for it ever to be successful at the highest level on a regular basis.
We have had players in our squads over the years who should have been released, but instead we are fed the "lets give him one more year" scenario time and time again.
To be successful in anything you have to be ruthless in your decision making.

| No matter how the current situation is batted from pillar to post,it is all down to poor management either at team level or boardroom level, with the board having to be ultimately responsible with neglecting what has been going on in front of their eyes on the pitch.
Tony Smith was brought in as a messiah &, for a few seasons, he brought something different to the team but he has taken his eye of the ball for the last few seasons & the club is now looking over a cliff. Recent team building has been dire & the few players that were doing a job for us up to a few years ago have moved on ,sometimes acrimoniously, & not been replaced with similar quality.
As much as anyone, the directors need to take a long hard look in the mirror & question their purpose at the club ,apart from a box & free tickets. The way the club is being run at present is alarming considering the directors should be business savvy.

| Forgive me if this has been mentioned before.
The silence from the club is DEAFENING. The only thing we hear, are Smith's lame, predictable excuses. Nothing from Stuart Middleton, Moran, and the rest of the board. We have a COO, who got his title from a lucky bag. Seriously, what does the fella do. Bar getting his qualification from a glorified BTEC course, I doubt he makes ANY decisions, bar tea or coffee for elevenses. I know that Moran doesn't court the limelight. Neither Middleton. In the same breath, I don't expect any of them to get multiple neck tattoos and umpteen piercings, and appear on Jeremy Kyle. The COO is stealing a wage, and the club is taking us for fools.
The players are taking the slash, too.
This is the lowest I've felt following our club, including the appalling Reggie Bowden era, and the 2002 debacle.
It's about time the board, coaching staff, AND the players took responsibility for their "actions"

At the start of the year, our glorious Council Chief Exec was quite enjoying making Churchillian remarks about pulling together through adversity and the like. He repeated ad nauseam (including on Sky Sports) that it is important to be visible and in communication with supporters.
Now, as we prepare to reach peak-omnishambles, he is nowhere to be seen.
What happened to the chief exec's regular column in the Guardian?
Had we not scraped through the games against Huddersfield and Wakefield by the absolute skin of our teeth, we would be bottom of the table.
Regardless of what happens on Saturday, enough is enough!

| The Warrington Guardian are hardly holding them to account, with the official opinion being the time is not right for change.
The fans are like obedient puppies, singing "Duh duh duh", buying their magic weekend shirts and clapping the team off.
The players are all peddling the "we are hurting / lack of confidence" mantra.
I cannot see where the catalyst for change is going to come from. It's like no-one cares.

| To be honest anything they say will not go down well, as long as we are losing.
A statement from the club would either be something like
"we are fully behind Tony Smith and the goal is to push on to Wembley and make the playoffs"
or
"we are all very disappointed and working very hard to turn things around for our fans, who really are the best fans in the league"
Even making populist statements doesn't do any good if you are losing. Koukash used to be on Twitter every week like Donald Trump saying how things were unacceptable, things must change, but they had year after year of being garbage and their fans were sick of his statements (admittedly Salford have been very impressive this year).
The only way to address the disillusionment of the fans is through turning the results around, while you lose anything you say will be received badly by fans.

| Well remember 95% of fans are still behind them apperently. Maybe thats why no one seems bothered about what the other 5% think.
