Regrettably, he will be benched, when Widdop is available, but "such is life" in the great scheme of things.

tonight we saw some key things

1) he can link into the line and he can create trys.
2) he is an intelligent defender that knows how to stop trys and get under the ball.
3) he can read a game and get into the right positions.
4) he is tough and will put himself on the line. (we knew that from the last game really).
4) he still needs longer studs.

We are just starting to see the beginnings of an absolute star here... what an amazing signing.

Well, we've not bought Widdop to sit in the stands.
Widdop will be HB with Austin, and Rarchford will go back to fullback.
Unless there's an injury, he'll be bench warming. Still, a great option to have.

Just means we don't have to rush Widdop back. They'll be opportunities for him...can't see Mamo getting them.

We always get excited about this stuff but it rarely happens that everyone is fit. Someone will get a knock or need a rest; they will all get plenty of game time.

I think he should be dropped, or more accurately, rested when everyone is fit. Don't want to burn him out.

He'd be the first choice if Ratchford, Austin, Widdop, Lineham or Charnley can't play. He'll get plenty of game time this season.

He won't be rested or dropped. He'll just have better players in front of him. Not his fault. A fully fit side, he's on the bench, with guaranteed game time.
