Maybe Dodds would have made a difference had his season not been over in the first few weeks..... maybe not....

However the lightweight pack deficiency was there for all to see and it will be this that the club looks to rectify with signings.

Cooper and Crosby will bring something that was lacking... im expecting another 2 big forwards as well... Hill cant be allowed to carry the pack again. I think we will line up next season with 4 decent props and a big unit playing in the backrow next to hughes.

If the various rumours are true, we're not far off that already...

IF Crosby comes that looks like the forwards are sorted BUT I am concerned about back up hooker, the rumours about Dwyer persist.

i would say one of the three kids should go out on a season loan somewhere, king seems to have got the bit here, so either philbs or wilde should do it for their development.

We've surely got to be on the lookout for a new a centre/winger.

Forwards are pretty good but no real ''nastiness''.
Maybe that's not in the modern game...
Hill, Clark and Cooper is fine.
Hughes, Currie and Westerman can more than hold their own.

Sims, Westwood, G.King, Dwyer is pretty good and that's without mentioning Harrison or Smith.

Do we need Crosby and Savelio ?

King is still only 21 so I don't want him playing week in week out.
Wilde is still young as is Julien - good back up and should play a few games

So a prop - Crosby - yes, but Savelio- maybe not.

If we lost Hill to injury last year we'd have struggled, so Coops and Crosby will shore us up.

Halves are fine with Gids, Chris and Dec with the Ratch option.

Centres and wings .... mmm... yes that could be an area.

Really agree with this. I don't think we have really had any menace since Morley left apart from Westwood.
If Cosby comes, that'll be a real plus but we really could do with a big south Sea Island battering ram in the
Fajita mould at Wakefield or a Frank Nuisalla type player from Wigan.

I've heard we have approached Jorge Taufua at Manly. That would hopefully be the answer to our left wing problem.
