The third one was Myler so you've changed your tune Tache, i seem to remember you saying a few month's back that signing Myler was a load of old tosh, now you seem to be insinuating that he's on his way.

Wasn't it me. A good while back who said Bosc will be joining, with Monaghan going the other way, and everyone saying very unlikely?
According to the Leeds fourm, Sinfield is a done deal.

get yor facts right i knew about the proposed move for him a long time ago and have never stated that it was a load of old tosh,i pm'd several board members to tell them about carney before he was even in the frame, roughly about the same time you stated hicks was going to union and then you jumped on the unfounded sinfield rumour and started banding it about as if you knew what was in the pipeline.
your old name of inside knowledge was a tad ironic as you clearly have none, keep speculating as it's all you seem to be good at,
could you tell me when sinfield signed by the way

| Traditionally, the 6 was a player who would link with the backs and the 7 would link with the forwards and work closer to the ruck, mainly as the plus one pivot.
I have always felt Briers was better at the former rather than the latter.

That's certainly how it used to be. For differences in the role compare a classic No 7 - Andy Gregory with a classic No 6 - John Woods/Phil Blake.

| Lets just say that we sign Richie Myler who is a great support player, he reminds me a lot of Shaun Edwards in the way he plays the game as Shaun Edwards was one of the best support players in the history of RL, Myler also has an excellent short kicking game. His weaknesses are his defence and he doesn`t look a natural distributor just yet, he is young though and he should develop that side of his game.
To compliment a player like Richie Myler i wouldn`t sign a stand off in the mould of Danny McGuire as they both have similar support style games, i would look for a younger version of Darren Lockyer who has been one of the best distributors in the game since he moved to 6. I wouldn`t say that Lee Brier`s strengths are in his distribution, his strengths lie in his short kicking game and his ability to step past defenders. Like i said earlier, i just feel age and a constant niggling hamstring injury are against Lee Brier`s now and we should look for a new direction.

| It is inevitable that Briers needs to be replaced, it is all well and good stating this type of player should replace him, but who are these specific players who are actually available/attainable?
