Catalans have had to deal with the officials as well as fatigue.

Make a note of the date and time. For the first time in 38 years of watching RL I'm switching off a game as a neutral. I knew Catalans would be hard pushed to make a game of it, but the performance of the officials have made a tough assignment impossible.

Time to brew up and do something more interesting, and I'm sure plenty of people around the country are thinking that.

I have to be honest, officials have completely made a farce of what started out with much promise.
I feel like I've been robbed and I'm watching for free!

Most blatant bias refereeing performance I've ever seen. It wasn't even subtle. There was a point in that game where Silverwood blew his whistle for a knock on before it'd even properly left Pomeroy's fingers.

So its an injustice that a team that finished 7th was denied the chance to win a one off knock out game against a team that finished 1st, and potentially go on and win the competition?

What would the consequences for our game been had Catalans won the competition from 7th?

How would you have explained how rugby league works, to any non supporter that came in to work and said, "so lets get this straight...you can finish 7th in the league, and beat the team that won the league once, and then you're in the Grand Final and can be declared champions..."

SC nobody says that it's an injustice for those reasons.
The match on the day was a poor reason to oblige your ideals.

Is it not exhausting doing this when you know everyone's onto you and thus barely bother to reply anymore?

Saints deserved to win.
I left the pub at 24-6 as it was all over.

Couple of poor decisions but I honestly didn't think it was bad as many of you guys are saying.

Jordan Turner is a real handful and played well at loose and Swift is very strong.

Everyone talked about Cats being a big team but I think Saints are bigger

I can't give you an argument but the officials decisions were at key moments in that game that swung the momentum to disadvantaged Catalan.
Saints didn't totally win it on merit. I didn't for one minute think they would lose it but had the decisions been fair, Saints would have faced a heavier game and its toll would have had some bearing on next week.
It's like they had been almost given a bye!
Pies and Wire won't have it so easy tomorrow.

Spot on there the duck, saints were given a buffer that they didn't deserve and Catalans spirits were crushed by poor officiating at key times in the game. I am so disappointed as a neutral that the result wasn't allowed to be settled fairly. I still think saints would gave had too much in the end as the Catalans looked out on their feet but if it wan't over as a contest then who knows what would have happened.
