| Quote i hate pies="i hate pies"Asotasi is the worst signing I have ever seen us make. He is garbage. When you finish the game with asotasi and wood, two props who only run sideways, it doesn't bode well. Absolutely sure, get rid'"
Cant argue with this at all, what has happened to Wood this year, he has been garbage and Asotasi is a joke!

| Agreed, I expected so much from Woody too, last season was arguably his best.

| Quote hesford="hesford"The only worse signings i can think of are brian butler and dave weavill both props'"
It does seem to be a particular problem regarding props. One minute they can be world beaters but once they lose their aggression/ mojo through injury or fear, their effectiveness has gone.
I cant however agree with you regarding Dave Weavill. I always thought he was a worker and trier, his only problem was a lack of size.

I'd agree with this. He's been poor when he's played but he has been injured a lot. I'm willing to give him another shot next season. I'll give Roy a piggyback to Aus if that's what it takes to get rid though.

| Big Roy had an excellent end to the season.
Can't help but wonder if he struggled all season because of the operation be had and it's taken him until now to get himself right?
Hopefully he can kick in from here for next season!

| Agree with that thought he made a difference when on pitch last night.

| Asotasi has played well in the business end of the season.
Hopefully there was a reason for his disappointing form earlier on other than just him being past it and now he can kick on because if he plays like that next season it will be like a new front row signing.

| Lets not lie, he's had a very forgettable season, for the vast majority he's been a passenger.
Last night he played well and it would remiss of we to slate that.
I've been really thinking about his comments and I think I've finally figured out his comments about learning to play a new game.
He knows we play an offloading, passing game and I think, may be wrong, he feels pressured to be part of this, to a point in which he passes it because he thinks that's what we all do.
He throws some right hospital passes, I think he hasn't 'got it' it's not sunk in that yes we do pass it but it isn't a necessity, we don't want everyone playing like a halfback.
He's looked very basic last few games and by that I mean as a forward he's just received it and driven forward, looked for yards and not a pass or even an offload, as a prop I can accept that, that drive he took in last night and skittled players out the way...YES ROY DO THAT, if that's all he does and never offloads it ever again then I'd offer him another year on top of his current contract.
All I want is effort and desire and last night you had that in buckets.

| What he did better than anyone else Yed was to get up off the floor quicker for ptb. 1.5-2 seconds and he was up.

| As a few have said he's upped his game in these last few weeks, and let's hope if he's here next year (and I expect he will be) that he performs as a basic forward and skittles more of the opposition in the same manner.
I'll have to watch the game agains to see how good his performance really was or whether it was just 'good'. Still a quota spot though....
Sims coming in (6'4'' and 17 stone) and Trent leaving (6'4'' and 16.5 stone). Really hope shows his mongrel side - along with Ben W. We need it.

| I Roy did really well last night. At a guess I reckon he was our highest average metre maker in the forwards. If he can continue his upturn in form we'll have a really strong front row and interchange next season.
