Each to their own, but, I don't think that King was the worst Warrington player on pitch today at all. I've missed the last couple of games through hols so can't really comment, but, I think 'we' should lay off the lad a bit. Today wasn't too bad especially second half and he certainly has got potential

Mummy duck is now thoroughly depressed. SHE was the one that was famous for losing five in a row........until the 2011 GF!!!!!: |

| OK, so it wasnt the best performance, but for the doom and gloom merchants saying "if we play..." lets all remember that "OMG what a disaster" at London. How we played yesterday will have little bearing on how we play next week (being a Warrington fan should certainly have taught people that) ?
Picking out individual players for blame is easy but very few actually ask "why did he not perform in that role", "why was he isolated so often", "why did he appear to go missing". Rugby is a team game, played by a team, lost by a team, won by a team.
As regards team selection, I am sure that TS and rest of the backroom staff has a far better of understanding on where people are at physically, emotionally and mentally when is comes to team selection than the rest of us. So many people questioned him dropping Myler for the cup final (2010?) but the call came good and was proven to be the right one.
Hopefully this time next week, all these discussion will be completely academic and we will be arguing over "how did xxxxx get Lance Todd over xxxx"

| I can only hope that we were under strict instructions not to give anything away about our kicking game, as I certainly didn't see one.
Regardless of whether yesterday's performance was intentionally half-hearted or not, I think everyone will agree that we need a massive improvement next week.

| I would like to think our last play wasn't due to Cas switching off in their comfort zone but more to do with a style of play left on the back burner & not to be revealed to opponents unless absolutely necessary. 78 minutes of stutter suddenly tied together nicely in a neat few seconds ,i hope it wasn't a fluke. Just a few minutes of stylish play spread throughout a match could blow teams away.

The traditional Warrington approach is to have an unplayable 15-20 minute spell, which is enough to blow most sides away. When that doesn't work, we seem to panic a little.
Hull are dangerous across the park and it will take an 80 minute performance to get past them.

| There's no doubt we have a lot more to offer than yesterday. I just hope the officials are in the mood for a quick, open match. We struggle with slow ruck rugby, and pound for pound, Hull will make more meters from a slow play the ball you'd imagine, by sheer size alone.
For us to be in with a chance, we need kick return meters, quick play the balls and Clark to get a bit of joy around the middle.

| When you consider how far Hull have come this year it puts into context that defeat on Easter Monday ,by just a couple of goal kicks, when for many of our fans it seemed like a catastrophe.

Hull had half a team out that day though. The other game was played in poor conditions so would be good to get both team at near full strength on a fine day and see how they go against each other. FWIW, I think we play a style that you struggle with so I can't see it being a high scoring game. Probably nip and tuck to the final hooter but really could go either way this one

I was frustrated that afternoon, as we clearly thought we had the game wrapped up at half time, then proceeded to hand it to them on a plate. Sandow made the mistake of dancing about in front of the Hull fans and went missing thereafter!

Plus Cas are arguably in their best form, plus we was held up over the line 4 or 5 times...however not sure if that good attack is flawed with bad technique.
You don't see players like Charnley or Hall getting held up.

| I've seen Warrington beaten by Hull h/a and on each game Wire looked the stronger but less urgent and focused, as if the team knew so.
TS addresses this, then we win.

Ideally, but if only was this simple. Away was particularly disappointing, as I thought we had them where we wanted. It was a big two points for them, they rested a few whereas we backed up from Good Friday and they managed to turn us over.
It's about time we won against this version of FC and Saturday would be a good time to start
