100 times better than Odsal. Leeds played Cas there a few seasons ago in a semi and filled it up nice new"covered" stadium with new modern facilities.

My lad was a mascot for England there a few years ago, granted it was a night-time game but hell of a journey and don't remember it being anything special but hay each to there's and all that, much prefer Odsal

| I'd love for it to be at either Saints or Salford.

True, but it's not that easy to get to compared to all the other options.

| Am I missing the point here, but as I see it, we have 2 games involving teams from either side of the Pennines? In the interest of fairness, I'd say play one game in Yorkshire and one game this side of t'hill.
How about Castleford v Widnes at Headingley and Leeds v Wire at Langtree Park? Both are neutral venues, one game on either side of t'hill. Widnes to Leeds is one and a half hours over the M62 and Leeds to St Helens is about the same distance over the M62. What can be so difficult with the above venues? Huddersfield is not available, we cannot play our semi against Leeds at Headingley because it needs to be on a neutral ground, so where else do we have in Yorkshire? Odsal and some people mention Doncaster, but Odsal Stadium as about as much atmosphere as the moon and Doncaster is not a place that I want to rush to visit and I'm sure a lot of other fans feel the same way. We have one semi-final that would be ideal for Headingley and another one for Langtree Park, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work that one out.
No doubt in the RFL's wisdom, they'll probably send us to the KC Stadium and play Widnes v Castleford at Blackpool.
Rant over.

| Oldham and Rochdale for me. A few people may end up locked out but that's not necessarily a bad thing, will do the game the world of good to see the sold out signs up again.

| I'll go out on a limb here
Widnes v Cas at Doncaster
Wire v Leeds at Leigh sports village
Or maybe both at Leigh on 9th and 10th?
I agree that Leeds Very RARELY travel outside Yorkshire for a semi unless playing another Yorkshire side
The problem is geographical Leeds and cas are close to most yorksire stadiums that can venue a semi so no matter what happens (unless Red Hall has a brain fart )one of these clubs won't have far to travel
Just one thought about the draconian draw we still have
Any thoughts about using the same facilities that the lotto draw does .... No foundling the balls there !!

| Leeds v Wire at Hudds
Cas v Widnes at HJ
Both grounds have easy access and are both close to M62. Travel is a requisite for all four sides in this round. I think the above grounds could get to full if not oversubscribed.

| Don't know where this hudds isn't available is coming from! There's two dates for the semi's and the football only takes up one date! And even then I recall Huddersfield town requesting a home game for their first fixture a few years ago so they can arrange their fixtures around it! Plus headingley isn't available on the Saturday either as they have a strong man comp going on!
