Initially I said Davies to replace Atkins as he's the best player I've seen play for us but looking at the squad I'd say we need a ball playing back rower more than anything. So I'm struggling to choose between Roberts, Gregory, Sculthorpe and Burns.

I know this is all hypothetical and everything, but stuff like Sculthorpe for Grix, or Langer for Myler just wouldn't be practicable given the salary cap these days. Given these restraints, I'd go Davies for King, or Roberts for Anderson.

On the Clarke bashing issue; I think it's sad that some lack the maturity to articulate what the genuine issue is. Probably not been watching for long enough to recognise what a great servant to the club he has been.
Clarke is past his best, and I would be very surprised if he was here next year. Higham's best days are also behind him, so do we need a new hooker for next year? Is there anyone coming through?
Some people have to complain though don't they? If Clarke does go next year who will take his place. (Not on the field, but as the target of some fans derision)
