| Quote: Gay Parry "So by showing his class today which he did, fair play to him, still doesn't answer why he couldn't do it on the international stage for Wales vs Scotland, when as the star player he should, if he had talent, have ran the game against a fair few players who were NL1 quality.
Surely a player of his passion, class and talent has the ability to shine in a match like that.'" ]
Listen mate just give the lad credit where credit is due....Today he deserves all the praise in the world and you could see how much it means to him. He was a class act today, no more to say on the matter....Lets live for today mate not what should of happened in the past...in past games.
He was outstanding and he will be in the final of that I am sure...Come on Wire.

You as a Wire fan are happy he's done it for you today, while me as a Wales fan am annoyed why he couldn't do it for us in the same manner. That is my gripe with the fella.
p.s. I did say fair play to his performance today.

To be honest, I think Warrington playing like they did today are a lot better than Wales. Especially our pack.

Probably are, but all the more reason for Briers to stand out even more in a lesser team, and against a lesser team, yes?

| Who cares? At least he wanted to play for Wales. Some of them only declared because they thought they were getting a free jolly-up in Oz. When that went out the window they were 'English' again.
I've been a critic of Briers but only because of the hissy-fits. On his day he is a World Class player and well done to him and Wire on reaching Wembley. I hope Wire win it!

Give it up mate, for christ sake. Its was Wales V Scotland. To be brutally honest, not one person on here, gives a flying f**k.

| Absolutley top draw performance from Lee today, deserved his MOM and deserves to grace the pitch at wembely where many of his idols have played.
How good would it be for him to stick it up saints so many years after they dropped him for the final to put gobbie goulding back in.
Somehow I think it is his and our destiny, I have said for 3 years now we wont beat saints unless its in a final.

King piemon wrote - What a pile of $hit
It was cack the whole team and i for one aint impressed
AJ wrote - Sean Long once again tore us to pieces. Its all well and good us singing Sean Long is a W@nker, but he was laughing back along by conducting the chant whilst ripping us to bits.
Robinson wrote - Saints - it depends on whether the side can get over their mental block. We're more than capable of beating 'Dads Army', but it appears that Wigan still shiit themselves at the mere sight of a red V.:27550.jpg |

| So pleased for Briers, he was different gravey. We were all cheering Wire on and got that into it that we jumped round the front room when Hicks scored. Well done

| Had a tear in my eye for him during his post-match interview, very emotional, very touching. Really deserved it today, almost everything he did turned to gold, but his team mates did you all proud too. Delighted for Wire!

| Got back and watched his interview at the end of the game
very much from the heart his brother died 8yrs ago, today
would have been his birthday, sometimes fate is just written
one of the most moving interviews i have seen after a game.
I have also seen a good friend buried this week he would
have been there today i felt like he was.

| Well played Lee. I dug out my 2005 away jersey for today's game (printed Briers 6, see) and copped a fair bit of stick from the Wigan fans around me in the West Stand.
I think Lee - and I - had the last laugh tbh.
