All sporting events, post-covid, have been. Why should the GF be any different?

I suppose one good thing to have come out of covid is that it has shown, once and for all, that professional sport is absolutely nothing without the fans and that the powers that be can mess about with their sports all they want, but, ultimately, they have to look after the fan's interests, because their sports will die without them.

I don't care if they play it in Brian Carneys back garden on a Tuesday lunchtime, you still get the trophy, you still get a medal, you still go in the history books and others can carp but you can only deal with what is in front of you.

Fully agree but they have not given much consideration to the fans before but there is always first time I suppose.
