I hope Dom Crosby can have a big season for us after the terrible personal tragedy he went through in 2017. However, if he remains not ready to play for personal reasons, I believe we should pay the balance of his contract and look to sign an alternative.

We're going into this season just like the last. Starting off breaking players in pre-season just like Ratchford & Patton last year, and playing patched up first few games. By then the loosing habit set in.

this is frighteningly familiar. Toby King admittedly got an injury v Salford but he's continually hurt. No proper cover for injuries

I've every sympathy for Crosby's situation but if the club would have handled him right the only injury concern he should have is a cauliflower .

It just takes Myler and Dwyer to be on a mission to prove a point and Thursday could be a nightmare.

All good points S51 but I think our problems were much deeper rooted last year. Our coach seemingly having set his main goal as winning the WCC match being one of them (this is admittedly hindsight on my part and likely to be the biggest load of horse manure this side of Aintree).
