which he does as he is the 2nd highest offloader in the team and that is something when we have woody, carvell, coops, westwood and atkins who all like a good offload

Sorry, not seen him do it. There is a difference between quantity and quality.

exactly this
if we didn't have any off loaders in the team he would stand out like a beacon but because we are blessed with plenty of them then he wont stand out as much.
his all-round contribution has got better and better each week and he is now consistently showing what a top quality player he is

| Don't get wrapped up with stats, Use your eyes. Stats give you numbers they don't give you quality. I could say that Waterhouse is 15th in the warrington team for try assits well below Myler who has hardly played. Anybody can throw a pass out in a tackle, it's quality that counts.

| I think it's all about perception really. We were expecting this crazy offloading second rower - what we've got is your a-typical Aussie second rower - a grafter who does more than his fair share in both attack and defence. To be honest i'd take the latter everytime.

sorry i missed also the highest offload success rate which means always offloads into a warrington players hands not the opposition so there is quality there aswell next game thats on tv watch the game live then watch it back and just watch waterhouse he is immense.
its not just the work he does with ball in hand, he draws in the defence without the ball due to his size therefore creating gaps and that sets up trys as much as passing the ball

and it is quality passes that he is producing consistently as well as his non stop defensive work which is why TS is very happy with him

| Before i'm hung drawn and quatered as a Waterhouse hater, i'm not saying he's a bad player, i'm saying i was expecting a more Hock type of player, harder running with quality offloads .

| i will defend waterhouse till i am blue in the face as he has been a great addition this year and will only get better as he settles.
i think some people expect him to be ripping up have players bounce of him like a pinball machine and him score or do something fancy with every carry.
As i have said he is not the explosive hard hitting player westwood is but he is hard working, his defense is outstanding, he offloads and he causes mayhem off the ball.

| In answer to the OP, no, TS hasn't made a bad signing. The only one who's been unlucky with injury is Myler - he was great for us last year and in 2010, but since he's been out and GoB's coming through, people have started the Myler-hate-machine all over again. I think if he can work his way back into form, then we'll be much stronger for the play offs than without him.

Thats bob on.
If you want to see how good he is, or how effective he is, take a look at how good our left wing and left centre are doing this year, he's a big part of that, defences covering him and numbering up on him leaving space for Ryan to exploit.
Its exactly the same as when Gillies was here, the majority of people were saying he was bobbins(and forerunner of briers current haircut) but Toa had his career season playing outside of him.
Look at the overall results.
