Sammut? Over rated for me. Witt is my choice or a young forward for Tony to train up. Gil Dudson or Ben Flower - both have potential IMO.

We have an excellent first team squad and the best youngsters at the club since the harris/sculthorpe days and people want us to go sniffing round crusaders for players? They are bottom of the league for a reason, their players are mostly gash and even the better ones wouldn't improve our team.

I'd expect to see at least a couple of their players at Widnes next year, Keith Senior may even end up at Widnes now that he has no club.

Witt, O'Hara and Withers will probably find clubs here but some of the British players there will either end up in the Championship or leave the game altogether. Widnes may come back for more (or Moore) but theres no way imo that 6 to 8 Crus players will end up at the Stobart. Another failed experiment. Where next? Paris again? Dublin? Barcalona? Leave it alone Mr Wood and inject more cash into grass roots RL where its needed.

I think pretty much all of the players will find clubs, it's the 'bad boys' like Tansey, Reardon etc that may have burnt SL bridges.

The poster boys of the franchise system show it can work, the RFL need to use these guys as the model of starting up any new club, I wouldn't give up on expansion, I'd just give it more thought.
