Hmmmm... I'd say a good year overall. Despite a poor start, Mr. Smith came along and refreshed the players, who really looked ready for games for the remainder of the season, no less with Wembley (yay!).
The club and town also seem a lot more chipper with this season.
Overall... (+5, carry the 3,) a good year I say.

Hopefully Che Smith will continue to prove what an excellent club coach he is next season and we can make it to Old Trafford.

All ifs and buts, but if we had lost the semi final then I believe we would have made the playoffs (we were clearly putting all our eggs in the Challenge Cup basket from the moment the final hooter went in Wierdness). Who knows, perhaps ours and wigans positions would have been completely reversed with us losing to Saints in the final eliminator and the pies winning at Wembley. |
