Its been a rumour over here for a few weeks, and i know he's not the most reliable source but Dave'Nosey'Parker has it in his column today along with James Lowes coming back as McNamara's assistant as we are getting rid of all our backroom staff.

If that is true we must be bringing in Slater and Thurston with Lockyer thrown in for fun

Why would he leave a club just about to see some potential from their investments to go to a club on the decline. The Andersons aren't going to last much longer and there is no obvious replacement there for any of them.

and why would Bulls want him when they have some good young guns coming through.
I can possibly see it if Bulls were replacing an Oz bound Burgess but a lot of other clubs would be happy to sign Westwood so would have thought he would have more choice than just jumping ship.

This could be a good move to be honest. Obviously I have no idea how much Ben Westwood is earning but I would have thought he is on the higher scale of the wage structure . With the promising young forwards on our books TS will not necessarily have to bring in a replacement and could therefore fund recruitment in other areas. With the amount of cap space free from Gleeson, Reardon and possibly Rauhihi, Johnson and Benny TS should have a lot to work with.
