Liverpool World and Science and Industry do both provide fun, laughter and play but probably best for children a bit older!

In terms of outdoor stuff I can heartily recommend Crocky Trail www.crockytrail.co.uk/. It lets your kids be kids again, taking risks, getting filthy and exercise too.

Go Ape is also very good but im not sure if there's any age restrictions, Splash landings at Alton Towers maybe.

First of all, many thanks to the poster who campaigned to get this thread reinstated after it was inexplicably locked.

Secondly, I was not dismissive of peoples suggestions, I think i went on record thanking people in fact, I was merely pointing out that due to my kids ages some of the suggestions may not have been suitable. I was also hoping for further suggestions that may be more suitable.

Again thanks to those you have shown genuine interest and offered suggestions, however i am still searching for somewhere.

If the weather is like today try somewhere like www.windmillanimalfarm.co.uk/ which has a mixture of indoor and outdoor activities and is great for young children, especially the indoor play area. Plenty of fun to be had by the adults too feeding the goats!
