only thing holding up our stadium is whether the council will fund the community facilities inside the ground. and we need additional funds for 15k capacity otherwise we could have settled for 13k and building work would have commenced.

Good noisy support, decent team but the language is unacceptable for a family game. Realise we have all got some numbnuts who do this as well but I don't remember it being like that from Cas before. I thought it was Hull in disguise - keep it clean lads its not welcome

on the way into the ground there were a few Cas supporters singing some song to the tune of 'Old Faithful.' I thought it was Hull fans got lost on their way to St Helens!!!

FWIW Ive never known Hull to sing this at games, or Rovers.

I've heard both Hull clubs sing it plenty of times...

From my position in the west stand I can say you were pretty noisy throughout.

No sign of trouble, and a friendly bunch I'd say (as most are when you're in the same stand)

The most noticeable thing was how easy it was to get a beer, so you must be the most tee-total fans visiting for a while.

So have I.

Anyhow, bigger numbers from Cas than previous years, which was good to see. Mainly kids and families, too, which can only be good for the future of the club.

Generally, Cas fans are my favouritest 'other' fans and it's always nice to hear them, too. I just wish someone would finally and seriously let me in on those bloody 'Old Boot Room' lyrics. Witty bunch at times, those Yorkshire folk.

And, the home kit looks really nice in the flesh.

The home kit last year was fantastic, not mad on this one. I liked last years that much I almost bought one as something to wear in general but I couldnt find a proper players jersey (I cant stand replicas).

As for the fans I thought there might have been more of you to be honest but the atmosphere outside the ground beforehand was nice to see.

No, I just don't want them effin' & blindin' especially when there are kids around. We say its a family game and I want to keep it that way. Old fashioned I know but thats just me.
