I've never altered my view on Huddersfield and last night confirmed it. They are a team of steady run of the mill players who are always going to be there or thereabouts, but will never win either of the two big prizes. They won the LLS last year on the back of the fact that the other sides rested players when they wanted to, and saved themselves for the play-offs. I've always thought Brough was a nasty horrible little player and last night showed that too.
The turning point of the game was the high tackle by Kopczak. Catalans were stuck in their own half and looking very tired. I don't think they would have made it anywhere near the Hudds line under their own steam.
